"When we say that something is true, it becomes true. When we say that something is false, it becomes false."

This 2018 Obie Award Winner explores the blurred lines between lies, history and conspiracy theories, as it tracks back and forth across 90 years of Soviet and post-Soviet Russia.

Jess and Joe Forever is an unexpected coming-of-age tale that explores what it means to belong, if any of us can. Joe is a farm boy who wears wellington boots. Jess is a city girl who is slightly too chubby for her summer dresses. They are miles apart even when they stand next to each other. But they want to tell you their story: about growing up, fitting in, and maybe even falling in love. Jess and Joe Forever is a play with wit and heart, about finding your place in the world even when you only know a small corner of it.
